Actor James Best Dead at 88 [VIDEO]

One of the most recognizable characters on the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard has died. James Best, best known as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane was 88.

Oh, I remember like it was yesterday, kinda.

My Friday night television line up as a kid was Actor Bill Bixby playing the role of David Banner in the Incredible Hulk, followed by The Dukes of Hazzard! What new kind of trouble awaited Bo, Luke Duke, Daisy, Uncle Jesse? What was Boss Hog's clever plan this week? Then there was Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane!

The Sheriff will be missed.
