Hate to break the bad news to the world, but here goes...Sorry, y'all, but we had to cancel the Dwight Yoakam concert this weekend...IN ALASKA!!!

Now it's time to wipe the tears away...

Acting Fire Marshal James Gray says this type of domed structure is approved for narrow uses, such as covering sporting fields or pools. It is not permitted for events like concerts, where large crowds gather in the middle of the nearly 184,000-square foot dome, not the periphery; lots of power is needed for lights and sound; and sometimes there's pyrotechnics. There's no sprinkler system in the dome.

So they wouldn't give the promoters the permit to have the concert and now have to refund all the money to whoever bought ticket.  I wonder what the real reason the Fire Marshal wouldn't give the permit...maybe he just doesn't like...Guitars, Cadillacs and Hillbilly Music!!!

Yeah I went there...
