Are the New England Patriots the Best NFL Team This Season?

Remember Deflate-gate? How QB Tom Brady was going to have to sit out four games to start the season? Like them or not... New England is playing like the team eyeing another NFL Championship.

Half of their 2015 wins have been blowouts, and in the close contests the Patriots have looked like the better team. Leads to a question though. Why does this team feels like it must cut a corner, or deflate a ball or two to win?

Seems to me if the Patriots just play the game, the only team they would have to worry about is... the New England Patriots.
