Dinner Theater Will Rebuild Homes

What do Bruce Hamilton, Russ Bordelon, the MSU Cowgirl Kickers, R.I.S.E. Gospel Choir and KPLC's Elizabeth Temple all have in common?  They are all putting on a holiday show for a good cause this Sunday evening.  This is a great chance to catch the holiday spirit while helping others.  The cause is Rebuilding Together Calcasieu, and the dinner theater is to raise much needed funds to make homes more liveable for the less fortunate.

Law Enforcement Rebuilds Homes

Law enforcement agencies from Southwest Louisiana are gathering together for a good cause.  Rebuilding Together Calcasieu is kicking off their 6th Annual Law Enforcement Rebuild Thursday, November 3rd.  They will be working on homes from around the area.  Each year law enforcement agencies from our community gather to make unlivable homes better for the less fortunate.   Louisiana State Police Troop D, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Police Department are participating in this year's rebuild that will end on Veteran's Day, November 11th.

This was the victory message posted on Bobby Jindal's Facebook page after winning with just over 66% of the vote in the Louisiana governor's race.  This 66% is being reported by the Louisiana Secretary of State's office with 4238 of 4258 precincts reporting.  While many of the names are unknown by most Louisianians, Jindal was in the race with nine other hopefuls.
