I didn't mean to get into radio. A friend of mine owned a waterbed store and there was no one else to do the voice on his radio commercial, so I did it. The next day, I was in radio. I didn't so much enlist as I was Shanghaied. I had no idea that I would still be sitting behind the microphone all these years later, but there's the microphone and here I sit. I always tell people that I get to play music and act childish for a living. I've worked in Beaumont, Austin, Chicago and a few other places, but I really feel at home here and I do love being part of the community. I always say it, and it's true, the Lake's listeners are the best ever. Even after all these years, I'm still having fun. Now, how can you beat that for a job?
