What if you had UNLIMITED vacation time?  What if you could just pick any day and say, "I'm off today" with no penalties and without getting approval from your boss?  If you work for Virgin's Sir Richard Branson, that's exactly what you can do.

Branson announced this week that he's giving his staff full authority to decide when then want to take vacation, and he doesn't care -- so long as they get their work done.  As long as they meet their obligations and as long as business continues, he's leaving it up to them.

His reasoning is that responsible workers will get their jobs done and be more loyal to the company.

Employees can take however much time off from work they choose, “the assumption being that they are only going to do it when they feel a hundred per cent comfortable that they and their team are up to date on every project and that their absence will not in any way damage the business,” Branson said. -- Time.com

And the guy's a freakin' billionaire, so I'm not betting against him.

But what would that mean for people like you and me?  How would you go about doing that?  And how could you use it to your advantage?

I wonder...
