Bridge Collapses in Central Texas After Truck Hits Support — One Reported Dead
Terrifying news out of Central Texas as multiple media sources are reporting a bridge collapsed on Interstate 35 in Salado, Texas after a semi hit a support. Salado is 40 miles north of Austin.
CBSDFW.com reports that at least one vehicle was trapped under rubble.
KEYE-TV reports two tractor-trailers and one passenger vehicle. The truck hit a support, causing FM 2484 to collapse onto the interstate. The overpass was under construction.
