The Calcasieu-Cameron fair, better known as the Cal-Cam fair, is coming your way soon.  The fair is set for October 18th through October 22nd at the West Cal arena in Sulphur, Louisiana.

The fair is one of the oldest in Southwest Louisiana.  It was founded all the way back in 1922 in Lake Charles.  After just a couple years, the City of Lake Charles wasn't interested in holding the fair anymore, so it was moved and became known as the Cal-Cam Fair.

This year, the fair starts on Wednesday, October 18th and runs through Sunday, October 22nd.  The festival includes carnival rides, food, and live entertainment.

Entertainment scheduled to appear at the Cal-Cam Fair includes:

Friday, Oct. 20th --- Live Cajun music from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 21st --- Cody Forest and Southern Pride 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 22nd ---- Live Cajun music from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
