Calcasieu Police Jury Elects New President, Vice President

New year, new faces. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury have a new President and Vice President for 2018.

Last night at the regular Police Jury meeting, they elected a new President and Vice President for the next year.

Judd Bares was elected the new Police Jury President. Judd Bares is serving his first term on the Police Jury as juror for District 12. His territory is Town of Vinton and portions of Wards 4 and 7.

Bares is a self-employed commercial television producer in Sulphur but you may also know Judd as a country music recording artists. He plays all over Southwest Louisiana.

Elected Vice President was Kevin White. White is also serving his first term on the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury as juror of District 1. his territory includes parts Moss Bluff and Ward 1. White is currently employed at Amerapex Corporation.
