Calcasieu Sheriff’s Dept. To Conduct DWI and Seatbelt Checkpoint Friday

In an effort to keep citizens safe, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Dept is once again conducting a Seatbelt and DWI Checkpoint in the parish this Friday.They are looking for those driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics as well as those not wearing seatbelts. This checkpoint is funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
