If the halls of the old Central School could talk they might send chills down your spine. Well this Halloween the old school is the home of Lake Charles' latest haunting. Bring the whole family to the family friendly haunting of the Central School Arts and Humanities Center (located at 809 Kirby Street) on Sunday, October 27th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The spooks will haunt the third floor.  Your family will enter downstairs and then be guided through the ghostly old school. According to a press release creepy characters, evil witches and mad scientists will lurk around every corner. Your kids will get a  sweet treat and can  get their faces painted by the S.J. Welsh Art Club.
It's all free though donations to Friends of Central School will be appreciated. You will also be able to purchase commemorative bricks, Christmas ornaments and T-Shirts (celebrating the historic building’s centennial anniversary.)
