Charlie Daniels Coming To Lake Charles In September

Country Music Hall Of Famer and icon Charlie Daniels will be coming back to Lake Charles at the beginning of September for a big concert.

The 80- year old singer is still at it touring all over the country.  Charlie Daniels has had a great past couple of years.  The pinnacle for any country music artist is to make it to the Hall Of Fame and that is exactly what happen to Daniels.

Last year in 2016, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.  That is no surprise to country music fans seeing that Charlie Daniels has been playing country music for 59 years now.  Yep, he started back in 1958.

For me Charlie Daniels stamped his place forever in Country music back in the last 70's and early 80's.  Especially when the movie "Urban Cowboy" came out.  That movie spawned one of Charlie's biggest hits ever "Devil went Down To Georgia".

The Charlie Daniels Band will be live in Lake Charles on Friday, September 1st, 2017 at the Golden Nugget Casino.  The show starts at 8:30 p.m.
