"True life: I'm Addicted to Cheese"... and now I know why.

Those darn Casomorphins! Don't worry, I didn't know what a Casomorphin was until today either. But, now that we are on the subject, Casomorphins are protein fragments derived from the digestion of the milk protein, Casein. Really, all you need to know about these Casomorphins is that they have an opiod effect, yeah, just like drugs like morphine and heroine. Opiods are well know for their ability to produce a feeling of euphoria, which is why it's so flipping hard to cut dairy out of our diets.

Seriously though, I love cheese. I'm writing this post after eating a cheese quesadilla with a side of queso, I have a legit problem. It's just so delicious! All of the best foods include cheese, cheese pizza, mac'n'cheese, grilled cheese, cheese sticks, ugh, the cheesy possibilities are endless.

There is definitely a lot more scientific-y stuff to know about this whole cheese addiction thing, and if you are interested in finding out more take a few minutes to read all about Casomorphins and how they make/ruin your life on the Yum Universe website.
