Christmas And New Year's Garbage And Trash Collection Schedule

There is only nine more days of 2015 and Christmas and the New Year is upon us. With the holiday, things all over Southwest Louisiana will be closing and that includes the City Of Lake Charles and the services that they offer to residents.

Your regular trash pick up times will be altered because of the Christmas and New Years holidays!

Matt Young with the City of Lake Charles advises us that:

The City of Lake Charles will observe the Christmas Holiday on Friday, December 25, 2015 and the New Year’s Holiday on Friday, January 1, 2016.

Changes in trash and garbage pickup are as follows: Trash and garbage scheduled for pickup on Friday, December 25, 2015 will be rescheduled for pickup on Saturday, December 26, 2015.

Trash and garbage scheduled for pickup on Friday, January 1, 2016 will be rescheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2016.

So make plans to make sure your trash will be out the right days to be picked up! Enjoy your family and friends and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
