Is it me or has this year flown by already.  I seems like just yesterday that we were ringing in 2015 and celebrating Mardi Gras and now it's almost the 4th of July!  Well never the less it's coming on Saturday July 4th and the City Of Lake Charles has released all the info on this year's Red White Blue & You celebration.

The first event the city has lined up is the Ninth Annual Red, White, Blue, and You Patriot's Ball. It is hosted by Mayor Randy Roach and the City of Lake Charles and benifits the Mayor's Armed Forces Commission.  The ball is on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Lake Charles Civic Center in the Contraband Room.  There will be a social beginning at 5:30 p.m.  followed by a dinner at 6 p.m. Entertainment by the band Souled Out '72 playing music from the 60s and 70s, along with some R&B, Soul, and Swamp Pop.

Then on Saturday, July 4th the celebration will be at the Civic Center starting around 6:00 p.m. with a street parade going on downtown on Ryan Street.

At 6:30 p.m. Bluegrass Music by Market Blue at the Civic Center Outdoor Amphitheatre followed by Lake Charles Community Band with the Louisiana Choral Foundation & Friends.  They will be playing a Salute to Armed Forces.
