Could Your Home be Swallowed By A Sinkhole? [VIDEO]

So you go outside to take the dog for a walk and notice the neighbors house is gone! In it's place is a big hole. This seems to be happening more and more. Maybe you wake up and notice one of the rooms in your house has sunk into the ground! This time it claimed a life in Florida.

National Geographic reports of a three story building being swallowed up resulting in 15 deaths. Then there is the sinkhole near Bayou Come (south of Baton Rouge) that has grown to almost six acres! These sinkholes have been linked to salt domes or limestone and changing water tables. Whatever the cause ... it is certainly scary to think this could happen anywhere.
