The Country Music Hall of Fame's Class of 2018 inductees will be revealed on Tuesday (March 27), and fans will be able to watch the special announcement live, wherever they are. The Hall of Fame will live stream the press conference, which is scheduled to begin at 11AM ET.

The Country Music Hall of Fame's Class of 2018 will come from three different categories: Veterans Era Artist, Modern Era Artist and Recording and / or Touring Musician Active Prior to 1980. Each year, a Veterans Era (eligible for induction 40 years after first achieving national prominence) and Modern Era (eligible for induction 20 years after reaching national prominence) artist are inducted into the Hall of Fame, while the Recording and / or Touring Musician category rotates with the Non-Performer and Songwriter categories.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will emcee the Country Music Hall of Fame Class of 2018 announcement, which will take place at the Hall of Fame. Each soon-to-be member will give a short speech after his or her name is revealed.

The official Country Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place later this year. The Class of 2018 will be the 58th group of country music artists to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. In 2017, the late Jerry Reed, songwriter Don Schlitz and the iconic Alan Jackson were added.
