CPSO “Buckle Up Your Truck” Campaign

Starting April 20 and ending April 26, the CPSO will be cracking down on drivers and passengers not wearing their seat belt. The Sheriffs will be conducting check points around the parish at various undisclosed locations. They will target those not wearing seat belts in pick-up trucks (and other vehicles of course).

Trucks account for 27% of the vehicles on the road in SWLA, and are 2 times more likely to roll-over during an accident.

Make sure you buckle up! It's the law!
