Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Officials said an unsolved case has a local family posting a $10,000 reward for information that may lead to the arrest of their daughter's killer.

Although the body of Sierra Bouzigard --which was found "dumped off of John Koonce Road in Moss Bluff"-- was discovered in 2009, Sheriff's officials still called it an unsolved, "brutal murder" in 2010.

Now in 2012, Bouzigard's family still wants answers.

While most of Southwest Louisiana heard stories of brutal murders of young women being dumped in similar fashion by the "Jennings Serial Killer", Sheriff Tony Mancuso , according to the American Press in 2010, announced

a DNA  profile of a possible assailant and he said that he thought the killer was an "illegal immigrant" who evaded arrest.

As a result, 12 people were reportedly deported from Calcasieu Parish according to the American Press article.

Even though many have claimed that the 19-year old murder victim from Moss Bluff  fit the profile of the unsloved  cases of Jennings victims, Calcasieu Parish Officials could not be reached for comment as to whether other investigative agencies were involved in the investigation of the unsolved case.

Could Sierra Bouzigard's murder be the work of the Jennings serial-killings and number nine among the 8 victims of unsloved murders in Jennings?

If you have any information on this case, please call Detective Mark Clark at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at 491-4523.
