A Tennessee family is very thankful for a heroic deed done by Country Star, Craig Morgan.  Morgan was at a gas station with his 14 year old son, Jerry.  His son noticed smoke coming from a nearby house.  The pair rushed to the house to help a mother and her two children escape.  Morgan even helped to extinguish the fire with buckets of water until help arrived.

“I didn't hesitate to help. I did what anyone else in the same position would have done,’’ said Morgan, a former Emergency Medical Technician and assistant deputy sheriff in Dickson County in the late 90s.

“I just happened to be the one that was there."

While no injuries were reported, fire department officials suggested that the fire could have gotten much worse without the help of Craig Morgan and his son.  With so much negative news about celebrities, it is refreshing to hear of a positive story like this.  Read more about at The Tennessean | tennessean.com.
