It was an evening no one in country music will forget anytime soon.  Country music singer Crystal Gayle was inducted into Grand Ole Opry by country music legend Loretta Lynn. Oh and by the way Loretta also happens to be Crystal's sister.

After almost 50 years of Crystal making her Grand Ole Opry debut, she was finally inducted into the holy grail of Country music.  She was only 16 years old when she performed for the first time at the opry.

In her career Crystal Gayle has released 68 singles and 15 music videos.  Some of her hit songs include "You Never Miss a Real Good Thing (Till He Says Goodbye)", "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue", and "Why Have You Left the One You Left Me For".

Her sister Loretta Lynn was on hand at a special Saturday night performance at the Ryman to do the honors.

Congrats to Crystal Gayle!
