Danny Etling Named Starting QB For LSU

With a couple preseason polls coming out, you know that the 2017 college football season is on its way.  Teams have been participating in Fall practices preparing for the season.

With that being said, some key positions have been up for grabs as they had a competition to become the starter for their teams.

Well yesterday during a press conference, head coach Ed Orgeron named Danny Etling the starting quarterback for the LSU Tigers football team.  Etling is a senior that started 10 games for LSU last season and racked up a 7-3 record as the starter.

LSU's and Etling's first test will come in a little over a week and half from now when LSU takes on BYU on Saturday, September 2nd in Houston at NRG stadium to kick off their 2017 season.
