April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month in America. It's time to talk about it.

April has been designated Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in the U.S.. The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities and individuals. But, efforts will not end in April. We plan to keep the conversation going all year long. Together we can highlight sexual violence as a major issue in our communities and reinforce the need for prevention and intervention efforts. We encourage individuals to join the conversation on how to prevent sexual violence. Sexual assault is not a women's issue, it's a societal issue.

Sexual assault occurs every 2 minutes and affects millions of Americans.

Sexual violence thrives in silence..it's time ..to talk about it.

Let's start the conversation about sexual violence prevention. Talk about it with your friends,
your significant other, classmates, co-workers, neighbors... everyone Sexual assault is not a women's issue..,il's a societal issue. It's time.. to talk about it.
