It's time for the 20th annual Downtown at Sundown! It will be every Friday starting May 18th thru June 8. This event shuts down Ryan Street in front of the Historic City Hall and Parish Courthouse and turns the area into THE spot to be each Friday evening.

Featuring food, beverages, table top galleries, activities for the kids (big and small), and of course great, local, music. A bonus this year will also have the official burying of the Sesquicentennial Time Capsule. It will be buried at the Historic City hall during the May 25th concert. It will be unearthed during the bicentennial year of Lake Charles in 2067 (let's hope I make it to 80 to see it).

Now, onto the list of entertainment!

May 18 - The Tugboats

May 25 - Rusty Metoyer and Zydeco Krush

June 1 - Lost Bayou Ramblers

June 8 - Flamethrowers

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and the family for this great downtown event and "pass a good time" with a few thousand of your closest friends!
