Being blown by super powerful winds and crossing the Atlantic, the sand is making its way to the Gulf. It is actually somewhat helpful. The sand causes the air to dry out, making it harder for hurricanes to develop. The downside? If you have respiratory conditions, the sand can affect it. Experts are saying to limit your outdoor activities as much as possible. The sky could seem milky the further South you get as well. Anyone want to make a sandcastle in the air?
