Music fans traveling to New Orleans for Country Music's largest Memorial Day celebration, Bayou Country Superfest, will recognize a familiar face and a familiar voice on stage. That voice and that face belong to Dustin Sonnier.

Dustin announced via social media over the weekend the good news that he and his band, The Wanted, will be making the trip to the Crescent City to perform in Champions Square on Sunday, May 28th.

This will be a great opportunity for one of the hottest acts in South Louisiana to gain exposure in front of a larger audience. This opportunity couldn't happen to a harder working guy. There is very seldom a night around the area where you can't find Dustin doing his thing on a stage somewhere in South Louisiana.

This guy is so good that people will ride horses into the bars to see him. By the way, don't ride a horse into a bar to see Dustin. The law enforcement people don't like that and bar owners don't like cleaning up after the incident.

If you're a fan of Dustin's you know you've got another great reason to make the trip to New Orleans. I am personally excited for a guy that I consider someone to be almost tolerable as a human being, just kidding.

He's a friend and has been a good friend for many years. We're pretty darn proud of the boy. If you're not familiar with Dustin and his music take a listen and give a look to this exclusive video.
