The first annual GI THETA Phi 5k run/walk will be help by the Theta Chi fraternity on November 5th at Cowboys Stadium to raise money for the USO on Ryan Street right across from the McNeese Campus.

The race will be $20 for students and $30 for public, and will include a t-shirt, entry into the raffle and access to the obstacle courses provided by Fort Polk.

If a 5k isn't really your style there are other ways you can help Theta Chi help the USO. On Wednesday, October 19th, October 26th and November 2nd as they team up with Chili's Grill & Bar to raise money for the USO. If you eat at the Lake Charles Chili's location on those days and chose to donate your receipt to the fraternity, 15% of the money spent will go towards their philanthropy.

On Friday, November 4th the fraternity will be on the McNeese Campus with a dunk tank and obstacle course handing out prizes and getting pumped for the big race on Saturday, November 5th.
