Four Arrests Made in Connection with Fall St. Murder in Lake Charles, Two Suspects Still at Large

Four arrests were made in connection with the murder of Domingo Elizalde MiJangos.  Arrest warrants were issued for six people thought to be connected with the crime, two of which are still outstanding.

Four out of six arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Domingo Elizalde MiJangos.  Those arrests are clockwise from left top corner: Justin Jamar Duncan, Devontea Deon Fontenot, Sade Jacob and Krisjuana Bellow.

MiJangos died from a gunshot wound the night of June 25, 2012 inside the residence of 734 Fall Street.  Though the crime was thought to be drug related, there weren’t any leads in the investigation for over a month until detective began receiving information that led to the issuing of six arrest warrants.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of Justin Jamar Duncan, Desmond Jamar Henry, Devontea Deon Fontenot, Douglas Lawrence Clifton, Sade Jacob and Krisjuana Bellow.  Detectives along with LCPD SWAT team located and arrested Duncan, Fontenot, Jacob and Bellow.  Arrests for Clifton and Henry have yet to be made.

Duncan, Henry, Fontenot and Clifton are charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.  Charges for Jacob and Bellow are accessory after the fact and obstruction, accordingly.

Duncan, Fontenot, Jacob and Bellow are currently behind bars with bonds totaling $800,000, $300,000, $25,000, and $5,000 accordingly.
