Free Child Passenger Safety Check Event in Jennings

On Saturday, the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force will provide free child passenger safety seat checks in Jennings. 

They will be conducted by child passenger safety technicians who will provide hands-on child safety seat inspections plus answer questions at no charge. The event will take place at the Jefferson Davis Parish Fairgrounds located on South Lake Arthur Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Seats will be checked in the covered arena area which will allow the event to take place regardless of weather conditions. Participating agencies include Louisiana State Police Troop D, Jennings Police Department, and Lake Charles Fire Department. Support for this event is provided by the Jefferson Davis Parish Police Jury and the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. See you Saturday!
