Free Colorectal Screenings Offered at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital [VIDEO]

Starting Tuesday, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital will be giving out free kits to test for colorectal cancer. These kits are non invasive and are used at home.

According to Lake Charles Memorial website, colorectal cancer is the third most common form of cancer and the second second leading cause of cancer related death in the U.S..

The kits can be picked up on the first floor of Memorial Hospital in the Radiation Oncology Dept. Tuesday, March 17 - Thursday, March 19 starting at 9 a.m.. There will be instructions included and kits will need to be returned in 2 weeks for screening.
