Funeral Arrangements Set For Slain Former CFMA President & Wife

We learned the horrifying news a couple days ago about former CFMA Lake Charles president Walter Gotreaux and his wife who were found dead in their home of an apparent double homicide.

No more details have been released as the investigation continues.

What has been released are the funeral arrangements for the Gotreauxs.

Visitation begins Thursday, December 20, 2018 in the Lacassine Community Center from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.  There will be a presentation by the CFMA at 6:30 p.m. honoring Walter for his service to the organization.

The rosary to follow at 7 p.m. and visitation will resume Friday in the Lacassine Community Center from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian burial is Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine, LA.  Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
