The last concert Garth Brooks played in Edmonton, Alberta was 21 years ago, but in 2017, he'll make his grand return. Brooks' World Tour with Trisha Yearwood will make a stop at the city's Rogers Place on Feb. 18.

Tickets to the 7PM concert go on sale Dec. 9 at 10AM MST for a cost of $79.98 per seat. There is an eight-ticket limit per purchase, available at Ticketmaster.

Brooks is currently on the third year of his World Tour, which began with 11 sold out shows in Chicago. In addition to being on the road, the country icon has been releasing new music to fans. Recently, he and Yearwood recorded their first holiday album, Christmas Together, which includes a collaboration with Brooks' idol, James Taylor, on a song called "What I'm Thankful For."

“What I’m Thankful For” is the last track featured on Brooks’ collaboration with Yearwood and also his favorite on the release. Brooks spoke with Taste of Country recently about working with Taylor, and he couldn't stop smiling as he recalled the experience.

“What a great artist,” Brooks said, beaming. “Why I got into music was James Taylor, so to see him be a real down-to-earth guy that’s unbelievably talented ... then to hear him sing those lyrics of ‘What I’m Thankful For,’ which is a song Ms. Yearwood and I got to write together, that was definitely a highlight of my recording life."

Brooks new Gunslinger album is on shelves now, as well.
