Good Friday Holiday Garbage and Trash Collection

Easter is a little over a week away and next Friday is Good Friday. With the holiday on it's way, you will have a big three day weekend off but your garbage and trash pickup will be interrupted.

Matt Young with the City of Lake Charles advised us that trash and garbage normally picked up on Friday's in Lake Charles will not be picked up until Saturday, April 15.

If your trash is picked up on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, your trash collection will not be interrupted and will picked up on those days..

Matt also told us that the Department of Public Works and other City Departments and offices will be closed on Friday, April 14 for the Good Friday holiday.

All of the Lake Charles city offices will reopen on Monday, April 17.
