Grammy Winner to Perform at Downtown at Sundown on Friday [VIDEO]

The 18th Annual Downtown at Sundown concert series starts this Friday. That night, Southwest Louisiana is in for a treat!

Performing on stage is two-time Grammy winner Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience. Saxophone Grammy finalist Mickey Smith will be the opening act. The live music starts at 5:30pm and continues until 9pm.

Expect Ryan Street to be closed again from Iris to the parking lot entrance of the Phoenix Building starting at 2pm Friday afternoon. The Downtown at Sundown concert series will take place for the next four consecutive Fridays in Lake Charles. The street fair format spotlights the downtown area of the city. Besides music and entertainment, there will be plenty of food and beverages, table top galleries, merchandise vendors, and plenty of activities for the kiddos.
