Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow!!!

This past Saturday, the beach was alive with the sound of ...snipping??  That's right, it was the return of Haircuts On The Beach, on the I-10 Beach, with another adventure of David Kaye in the Midday right in the middle of it all!

The Team at The Odyssey Salon is hosted their 3rd Annual Hair Cuts on the Beach, with a Volley Ball Tournament, Haircuts, Styling, Live Bands, Fun Jumps, a live DJ and Refreshments. All proceeds will go to benefit local charities and everyone who came by walked away with a smile, a suntan and a fresh do!

To Honor the Memory of a very dedicated hairstylist who had a passion for life and the beach, Dewayne (Bear) Crochet, we are once again hosting a day of family fun and haircuts on the beach, July 9th from 10am till 6pm. Volley Ball Tournament Registration will start at 10am at the I-10 Beach and Paul Mitchell Professionals will be on hand for your haircut experience and Stage One students will be assisting with your summer style at 12noon. Local Bands include The Loaded 44rz ,The Down Hearted,Josh Belile (JB), and Souls on Monday. But don’t forget the kids with a fun jump (donated by Kinder Rental). There will be burgers, hotdogs and ice cold sodas for refreshment. All proceeds will benefit local charities that Dewayne (Bear) Crochet believed in (ex., Abrahams Tent, Women’s Shelter, SWLA Autism Chapter, ect…). All Proceeds from the Volley Ball Tournament will Benefit the Lafitte’s Ladies, Lake Charles’ Premiere Roller Derby Team.

It was a good time for everyone, except me, when once again, I was reminded I'm going bald...oh, well!!!
