Happy Birthday To George Strait “60” Today

Happy Birthday to "King" George Strait who turns 60 years old today. I know I can't believe it either!

George was born May 18th, 1952 in Pearsall, Texas and who knew that he would become the king of Country music.

His career started back in 1975, that's 37 years folks and has spawned 59 #1 hits on all country charts!  Wow 59 #1 hits.  That is unbelievable!

George Strait has sold more than 68.5 million albums in the United States which include 13 multi-platinum, 33 platinum, and 38 gold albums.

My favorites included, "Amarillo by Morning, The Chair, Baby Blue and recently Troubadour".

George will make his long awaited return to the Houston Rodeo in 2013!  Can't wait for that!
