Happy Mardi Gras

Yes, today is Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras and there are two more parades scheduled for today. The Hot Rods and Motorcycles Parade has been moved up to 1p.m. The Krewe of Krewes Parade will roll at 5p.m. Have fun, be safe, and catch a bunch of beads. Again, it's my pleasure and honor to have been chosen as the Grand Marshall for the Krewe of Krewes Parade so be watching for me leading the parade. Happy Mardi Gras everyone.

Congratulations to Southwest La. Mardi Gras Association for another great job. and to the Southwest La. Convention and Visitors Bureau for a wonderful job. These people are the hardest working folks I know and they do because they love it. It's my pleasure to be associated with you all. Thank you for what you do.
