Lake Charles police are still reviewing security footage from three area banks after three incidents of related vandalism.

Over the weekend (Jan. 16-17) banks on Lakeshore Drive and an additional bank on Broad Street were tagged with graffiti reading "F--- MLK." Police said they initially found out about the vandalism via social media. By the time they responded to the scenes, some of the signage had been taken down by unknown parties.

Two banks reported the incidents over the weekend, the third didn't report it until Jan. 18, which coincidentally was the national celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday. However, police believe the graffiti at the third bank occurred during the same time period as the first two.

Those with information are asked to call Lake Charles Police.
