Sad news. Jerry Leiber has died at age 78.  He will be remembered as one of the most important songwriters in the history of rock & roll.  Leiber along with his song writing partner Mike Stoller wrote the classic hits:  'Stand By Me', 'Hound Dog', 'Jailhouse Rock', 'Young Blood', 'On Broadway', 'Yakety-Yak' ,'Searchin' and many others that defined early R&B and rock & roll.
