JJ Watt knew he had to use his celebrity and being the face of the Houston Texans football team to help the Gulf Coast.

His initial goal was to raise $200,000. Well, it didn't take long, Watt and his team reached that goal in 2 hours!  When he reached that goal, he didn't stop there!

"The initial night, we broke the site, we couldn't figure out how to get it back up and we somehow found the CEO's phone number and called him at his house and got him out of bed," Watt told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "AC360." "He helped us fix the site and it got rolling." - CNN

Watt went on to tell Anderson Cooper that when he reached $10 million in donations, he then made his goal $15 million!  Currently at the time of this post, he has raised over $13 million!
