Last night after the Donald Trump trounced both Ted Cruz and John Kasich in the Indiana primary, the Republican party lost one of their last three candidates.  When the results came in that projected the winner last night, Ted Cruz took to the podium and announced that he was suspending his run for President of the United States.

Now we have learned this morning that John Kasich has announced that he will too suspend his run for President of the United States. So now their is only one, Donald Trump.

Donald Trump took received 53.3% of the vote last night to win out right.  Ted Cruz only got 36.7% of the vote and John Kasich came in third with only 7.5% of the vote.

The results last night along with Donald Trump's delegate lead most likely prompted both of the other two candidates to drop out of the race.

Trump has 1047 delegates while Cruz had only 565 and Kasich had a dismal 153.  Donald has more committed delegates that both Cruz and Kasich combined.

So Trump is the last man standing and is now considered the presumed Republican nominee for President Of The United States.  The Republican national Convention is set for July 18-21, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Quicken Loans Arena.
