John Mellencamp Signs Lifetime Deal [Video]

John Mellencamp signed a "lifetime" recording contract with Republic Records, it was announced last week.

Mellencamp will release his 22nd full-length album this fall.He is working once again with T Bone Burnett, who produced his last two albums, 2008's "Live, Death, Love and Freedom" and 2010's "No Better Than This."

The release will be Mellencamp's first since "No Better Than This" in 2010.
