Lady Antebellum Don’t Think They’re Worthy of Being Made Into Dolls

Tim and Faith have a set; Taylor Swift has one, too. But for some reason, ‘Own the Night’ trio Lady Antebellum don’t think they’re worthy of having dolls made to look like miniature versions of themselves just yet. In a new feature for the Wall Street Journal, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood remained modest while dishing on toys and tours.

“Garth Brooks sold 100 million records. Tim and Faith just got dolls,” Haywood said, explaining that their group is a long way off from that level of superstar status. Kelley chimed in with agreement, saying, “I don’t think we’re doll-worthy just yet.”

But with five Grammys already under their belt and likely more on the way, the humble group has already soared to unbelievable heights, even if they can’t see it. As they gear up for the second leg of their tour, which kicks off on Jan. 27 in Tulsa, Okla., Lady A expressed that they’re worried they can’t live up to the hype on their first-ever arena run.

“It’s kind of scary when you see the Staples Center and the American Airlines Arena in Dallas — when you actually look at it on paper,” Haywood admitted. “When the rubber meets the road, will we really be able to sell this many tickets?”

Somehow, we think they’ll manage just fine — doll-worthy or not.
