You might not have heard about this over the weekend, but there was a hit-and-run incident on Ryan Street.  Now, the mother of the man who was hit has taken to Facebook asking for help in finding the person responsible for causing major injuries to her son.

Rene Fontenot posted on her Facebook about the incident, and described the vehicle in question that hit her son, Ty.  She stated:

To the white Volvo, with pink stickers, with a temporary tag, and now missing a bumper that was taken off when you hit my son on his bike last night on Ryan street around 1 am: you left him broken and bloody in the road, but security footage from a local establishment has you on film.

She went on to say that the vehicle actually stopped, backed up, and then just sped off. She goes on to ask for law enforcement's help in the matter.

If you know anything about this incident, we encourage you to call the Lake Charles Police Department at 337-491-1311.

Here is here entire Facebook post but a warning, pictures are graphic.
