Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue Visits The Kris And Erin Show.

Meet Neeva, a beautiful Staffie-mix with The Positive Pit Project, an arm of the Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue in SWLA.  Kris and I had the honor of meeting Neeva, yesterday, when she visited the #KrisandErinShow.  Loving, silly, and very happy to meet us, Neeva is searching for her forever veteran to assist, as a licensed therapy companion.

Neeva was an owner surrender rescued by Dr. Stark with Lake Area Animal Hospital a few years ago.  No fault of her own, her owners had to surrender her for reasons beyond Neeva's control.  Upon surrender, the Calcasieu Parish Animal Services staff noticed her personality and sweet nature, knowing she would make an excellent family pet.  Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue took her in, and began the process of training her to be a companion pup for a veteran in need, through The Positive Pit Project.

The minute I met Neeva, my heart melted.  The love and compassion in her eyes was the first thing I noticed, not to mention the big grin on her face.  She was so excited to meet me, gave me lots of kisses and tail wags.  I promised her I would help her find her forever veteran to call her own.  Who wouldn't want this sweet girl?  She is so anxious to learn, always trying to mimic her companion friends, wanted desperately to fulfill her purpose.  Help us help her find a veteran.  If you know of a veteran in need of a companion pup, please contact Lake Charles Pitbull Rescue or The Positive Pit Project and apply TODAY.  Help save two lives.....the life of a veteran.....and the life of a misunderstood breed.  #AdoptNotShop
