Larry King's last show has come and gone, and in an odd case of being at the right place and the right time, Lake Charles was thrown in the mix during this historical moment in television. Larry King had greetings and interviews with celebrities including Tony Bennett.

Bennett was a guest on the show via satellite, and happened to be staying at L'Auberge du Lac for his Friday concert. King's farewell marks the end of his 25 year run as host of CNN's "Larry King Live." Here is an excerpt from the story on CNN.com:

King was then joined by his wife, Shawn, and two sons, Chance, 11, and Cannon, 10, to hear Tony Bennett sing "Best is Yet to Come" from Lake Charles, Louisiana.

"How about them apples," King said afterwards.

"Thanks for all the great interviews you've given us, Larry," Bennett said.
