League and Links Golf Tournament Scheduled for March 20

The Junior League of Lake Charles will be holding their 13^th annual Leaguers & Links Golf Tournament on Friday, March 20 at The National Golf Club in Westlake. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. with lunch being served. The tournament is a 4 person scramble and is open to both men and women. Shotgun starts at 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the top players.

In the last five years alone over $600,000 has been funded by the Junior League for community projects and to train volunteers. They have also been active in the community through community service with over 120,000 hours of their time, also in the last 5 years.

One of the many projects funded by the Junior League is the Fostering Families program, in which care packages are purchased and delivered to children who have been removed from their home and placed in foster care.
