After a perfect 13-0 regular season and a trip to his second BCS National Championship game, LSU head coach Les Miles will be honored for his efforts as he will be awarded the Coach of the Year honor on ESPN tonight.

Les Miles will be awarded the Home Depot Coach of the Year tonight Dec. 8th and it will be televised at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

The list doesn’t stop there, though. Miles has also been awarded the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Coach of the Year.  This award is voted on by the SEC coaches.

Hold on Tiger fans, that’s not all for the "Mad Hatter."

Miles, who has also been named the AP’s SEC Coach of the Year, is also a finalist for both the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year and Liberty Mutual Insurance Coach of the Year awards this season.

Les Miles has racked up an impressive resume’ this season.

Of LSU’s 13 wins this year, eight have come against ranked opponents and seven of those eight have been double-digit wins. The 2011 team has ten 20-point wins this season, is the only unbeaten team in the FBS and the defense has allowed an average of only 10.5 points per game (second fewest in FBS).

On Monday, Jan. 9, LSU will face Alabama in the Allstate BCS National Championship game.
