Little Big Town Nominated for Special Billboard Honor [VIDEO]

The group Little Big Town is one of five finalists for the 2016 Billboard Chart Achievement Award.

The honor might be because of the success of their No. 1 single "Girl Crush."

What was unique about the song was that not only did it spend close to three months on top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, but the single set a record for most weeks spent in the top spot.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will take place in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena on May 22.
