Live at the Lakefront 2018 Lineup Announced

Get ready to enjoy some amazing live music from SWLA boys and girls. The Live at the Lakefront lineup as been announced. The result? It's going to be amazing, as always!

The 7th season brings a lot to the table. Running the 3 consecutive Fridays in March, this lineup is guaranteed to satisfy every dancing bone in your body. Add in local food booths/trucks, local artisans, and a few local restaurants, and you've got the recipe for an amazing time in Lake Charles, LA.

March 9 - Kicking off the 7th season will be New Orleans natives, Bon Bon Vivant. Fronted by Abigail Cosio, the band plays origionals, rock, and some "gypsy swing". Opening for them will be SWLA native Jairus Daigle. Son of the infamous keyboardist for City Heat Chester Daigle, Jarius is no stranger to the SWLA area. His band The Network will also be accompanied by The Pretty Cavilers.

March 16 - The second week doesn't let up for the lakefront. The Pine Leaf Boys will return to the stage ready to show off their energy the Rolling Stone described as "the best new, energetic, and fun Cajun band in a very long time". The Grammy award winners will be the headliner right after the grandson of Boozoo Mason Trail & the Zydeco Rhythm.

March 23 - You'll need your sweat towel for this one. Opening the night will be SWLA blues and rock band The Cards followed by the baby smooth sounds of Jarvis Jacob and the Southern Gentlemen. After that, get ready, the stage will heat up with the highly energetic and talented Flamethrowers. Known to sell out venue after venue, the Flamethrowers have played in venues across the nation, including Alaska. Fronted by the Darbonne "power couple", you won't even need to bring a chair to this show. You will be on your feet the entire time.

This is truly a killer line up for the 7th season. It starts at 6pm and runs till 10pm. All ages are invited, so bring the family and get ready to dance your cares away while enjoying such an amazing community event.
